I often write about my knitting and crocheting that I consider my own personal therapy, along with gardening. These days I find it difficult to sit without a crochet hook or knitting needles in my hands.
These pictures give you an idea of what I do. This is far from everything I’ve done. Not even quite what I’ve done in the last year. But I enjoy keeping my hands busy, so I have a lot of finished projects lying around in cupboards, as well as unfinished ones, unfortunately.
This was probably not the best idea to show you what I’ve done for ‘therapy’, because now you know exactly how much therapy I need… oops.

Hallo to you from the southern most part of the African continent - South Africa!!
To put my life in a nutshell : I raised 3 absolutely fabulous kids (I'm sure you will hear a lot about them, since I am a very proud mama), I became a doting grandmother two years ago and recently bought a house in the Western Cape, and in doing so, realized a dream I've had for many, many years.
I love traveling, which I don't do often enough. I love living a simple life - cooking, gardening, knitting and of course, blogging. There is still a lot I want to do and see in my lifetime, but time will tell how much of that I can actually accomplish.
I am looking forward to meeting a lot of lovely new friends and interesting people here on WordPress! :)
Your crafts are comfy and inviting. It makes me wish that I could do such things. Sigh. I’m not very good with my hands.
Thank you! I was taught from a very young age – I think that may have made a difference. But give it a try, you might be surprised. 🙂
I would very definitely be surprised if it came out well! I’ve done some basic crochet, and soon found my limits!
😀 It would have been a boring world if we were all good at the same thing. Thanks for reading and replying – much appreciated. 🙂
